A designer originally from India and currently shipping security experiences from Texas. As a designer, I am passionate about finding creative solutions that not only enhance the user's journey but also deliver tangible value to the business. It's like solving a puzzle where every piece matters, and the end result is a beautiful picture of success!
Growing up in a bunch of different cities in the northeast of India was pretty cool. By the time I was in high school, we had moved 7 times and gone to 7 different schools in different cities. India's so diverse, I had to learn to talk to new people every time to fit in and make friends. But, you know, there's nothing like having a group of friends from different backgrounds.
I moved from the busy streets of India to the wide cornfields of Indiana to study at Purdue University for my undergrad, and here I am almost a decade later. I came to study computer graphics and ended up discovering the awesome field of UX. Since then, I've worked on lots of projects and teams, like making auditing software at Workiva and leading 0 to 1 projects related to security products, systems design, and AI for security at Securonix.
When I'm not working, I'm usually taking photos, joining design hackathons, mentoring aspiring designers, and, of course, watching a ton of Netflix.

Securonix - UX Designer
2022 - Present
Lead the design of Generative AI-powered security experiences, improving efficiency and user interaction.
Led the design of a 0-to-1 product, from initial concept to launch, working in collaboration with the Product Manager to define requirements and utilizing A/B testing to validate and refine designs.
Developed and implemented an extensive design system that improved design procedures and ensured coherence across the product, resulting in a reduction in development time.
Established a Zeroheight design system site and documentation, emphasizing component usage guidelines in collaboration with technical writers.
Worked collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, technical writers, and data scientists, to deliver security products focused on user needs.
Performed user research, user flows, competitive analysis, and usability testing to gather valuable insights and shape design strategies.
Workiva - UX Design Intern
2021 - 2022
Worked in collaboration with senior designers and developers to implement design solutions that aligned with user needs and business objectives.
Developed wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes to clearly convey design concepts.
